Today we had the Honor of speaking with Captain Robert Cook. He is one of the cofounders and currently President of The Organization of Black Maritime Graduates Inc. The OBMG was formed in 1994 by 6 Maritime College graduates who wanted to help improve the education possibilities for African American and minority students at SUNY Maritime College. This is accomplished by providing scholarship opportunities, financial assistance, mentoring, networking and more…
